Born out of late night sessions when a pipe burst in the basement of a converted church in Holyoke Mass, the sounds of water heard rushing thru an oscillating drone wet the subterranean seed for this release.

The sides here are a journey - an exploration of texture and stretched-out space with melodies buried inside a pressure that doesn't let up. The A side ‘sandbar cinders’ is aptly titled, molten coils sputtering on wet substrate (?) where Side 2 ‘planing lakes’ is a release from the flip, bringing things above ground into the strange light of day.

This record evokes more than it emotes, and that's where it's strength lies - in trying to make sense of it all, it's up to you to find the way.
